| Note on the time period: | Es handelt sich um ein unvollendetes Ölgemälde zum Blatt "Vue du Château de Wimmis et des environs", das Johann Ludwig Aberli als kolorierte Umrissradierung um 1775-1783/84 herausgab (Dat. B.Geiser 1775, Dat. F.-C. Lonchamp 1783/84). F.-C. Lonchamp datiert das Gemälde um 1770. Ergänzend dazu erwähnt er ein Aquarell, bei dem es sich ebenfalls um eine Vorlage für die gleichnamige kolorierte Umrissradierung handeln könnte. |
